CEREC Dental Restoration

Short for Ceramic Reconstruction, CEREC is a dental restoration that is produced by using a combination of 3-D imaging and advanced CAD-CAM technology. With this modern procedure a tooth can be restored in only one visit, unlike the older techniques that required 2 or more appointments. The types of restorations include crowns, inlays, onlays and veneers and use a variety of different ceramic materials.
